Malet Lambert was delighted to host a visit from 37 teachers from the Madrid area, who were visiting Yorkshire on an educational experience trip.
The trip, coordinated through a company called FereMadrid and hosted by educational consultant Dave Harris, centred around schools in York, but included Malet Lambert as one of the most interesting schools in the Yorkshire area to visit.
The group of leaders and teaching staff, who all teach at Catholic schools, were treated to a tour of the school, talks from our senior leaders and head pupils, and a chance to chat with our pupil leadership team.
This gave visitors a chance to see how we run our school and take away ideas that could be beneficial in their own learning environment.
Group organiser, Juan Carlos Garcia, said, "I was very impressed with the school, its pupils and its staff.
"It is a very friendly place with great clarity in what it expects for its pupils.
"Everyone in the group has left with very happy memories of Malet Lambert."
