Year 10 pupils won a prize for their entrepreneurship skills at the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) secondary school challenge earlier this week.
Alongside other teams from schools across Hull, the group had to come up with an event that would use every facility at the host venue, KCOM Craven Park.
They pitched an idea for an 'Around the World' festival, which would see food from different cultures served in the function rooms, a fashion display in the forum, and world sports played on the pitch, amongst other things.
After marketing their idea to a panel of judges, they were awarded sixth place out of 22 schools and given£100 in vouchers to split between the team.
The aim of GEW is to promote business skills in young people, building confidence in their own abilities.
