Throughout the year, our students rack up recognition points for everything from correct uniform, punctuality, good behaviour and attendance. These are recorded by the form tutor.
At the end of the school year, we reward all students in the top band of points totals with a trip or a special activity - to say 'thank you' for consistent positive behaviour at school.
This year students can choose from a day out at Hollywood Bowl and the cinema (Year 8, 9 and 10), play day at Big Fun (Year 7 only), thrills at Flamingo Land, or creative school workshops followed by a film.
Progress Leader for Year 8, Mr Barton, said, "We offer these reward trips every year in accordance with the school's Recognition Awards Policy.
"It's a great way to show our appreciation to students for their behaviour and attitude, and they always enjoy it.
"We have a range of activities this year that should suit every student. Letters with more details are currently being posted out to parents."
