There was a buzz of excitement this Tuesday lunchtime around the library book fair. Hundreds of books are up for offer, from classic novels to the best-selling books of today. Not only is there an amazing array of choices, but they are all half price for the next four days.
We interviewed some students who were already rifling through the books on display.
Year 11 student Megan said, “The book fair really encourages reading and is great value - you get double the amount of books for the same price!”
Bryce from Year 7 said, “I like how you can get really good books to enjoy that aren’t very expensive.”
LRC manager Mrs Hutchinson said, “Our book fair is an excellent way to promote literacy in school. You can find a book just for you, buy it at a good price and it will transport you to another world.”
The book fair is open to students during registration, break time, lunch time and after school until Friday 24th October.
