By Alysia, Year 7
When we have found out what secondary school we had got into a week before we leave for summer holidays, we go to our secondary school for a week. So this means that we can get used to it and know where we are going so we don’t get lost when we come back. It is a little bit scary but also exciting as you have never been before.
On the first day you just get to know your form tutor and people in your form. When you go in you don’t know what to do and feel out of place but as the day went on it got better and better. So on the Tuesday we spent period one in form and then for the other 4 periods we went to all of our lessons. I was slightly nervous as it was something I had never done before but I did it.
Then as the week went on it got better and better and I knew were everything was. On the Friday, we went to all of our lessons but period five went back to form to say goodbye and have a bit of fun and get some letters. It was absolutely amazing. Now I’ve been in Malet for 22 weeks and have only got 10 weeks left in Year 7 .
