National Careers Week 2013 was an important part of the school’s guidance programme. We were delighted to see so many of our business and educational partners give up their time to encourage our pupils to give thought to their futures. The variety of activities organised throughout the week was a pleasure to see! Year 7 pupils learning skills within the construction industry, year 8 pupils ‘fixing up their futures’ at Hull City Hall, year 9 understanding the influence of the digital world on society, year 10 looking at routes into social work, nursing and childcare and year 11 considering opportunities in further and higher education were just some of the highlights of the week.
