Our talented year 8 pupils got their hands on leading edge technologies at Humber TeenTech 2013 on the 11th July. Pupils tested experiments and met the wide variety of Engineers, Scientists and Technicians working the on the gadgets of the 21st Century.
Over 30 Local & National Employers in Science, Engineering & Technology provided intriguing and practical encounters. The event, inspired by “real” engineers, gave pupils the opportunity to find out about what’s really involved in their work and how important subjects like Maths and Physics can be for future careers.
Our pupils fully embraced the opportunities available to them and got to grips with Simulated Welding and Bobsleighing, created a new games character and shared for new inventions.
At the final presentations of the day, Malet Lambert pupils got recognition for their efforts with various challenges and won the prize draw sponsored by JVC.
