Next week is National Careers Week and, as ever, Malet Lambert School has organised a host of activities to stimulate thought about future career prospects amongst our students.
During 2nd - 6th March, students across the year groups will be involved in talks, visits, information fairs and activities.
A group of Year 8 students will be working with Kit Hargreaves from Apple Pear Design Agency on coding skills and creating apps for smartphones, while other students will be hearing from Sky Sports presenter Rob Palmer about working in the sports entertainment industry.
Throughout the week, local training providers will be offering taster sessions of courses related to careers, to give students a practical feel of the kinds of things they can do after school.
Colleges and employers from the area will also be attending a Careers Fair to give students more information on post-16 study and future careers.
