Malet Lambert Year 10s were devastated last Thursday after being knocked out of the national cup in the semi-finals for the second year in a row. The football team put up a great game last Thursday, but without their star player Billy Chadwick they lost the edge over their opponents. Billy is out due to a knee injury, he will not return to the team until Christmas. The team however, still put up a fight and finished the game 2-1, after a goal from Jacob Dale-Todd.
The team are not giving up and are already looking to next year. They are already training and are determined to reach the final in their final year at the school.
Head of PE and team coach, Mr A.Ripley has confidence in the boys and has said, “They have gained confidence from past experiences and are determined to go out with a bang next year in their final national cup.”
