As pupils move toward the GCSE examinations, we will look to implement a variety of strategies to ensure that they have the opportunity to fulfil their potential. One of these strategies is to maximise learning time by the addition of enrichment sessions which will aid the learning taking place in lessons, and facilitate further progress.
This targeted intervention is based upon our knowledge of pupil progress, and where it is adjudged they can make maximum gains through attendance at enrichment sessions.
May we take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and please do feel free to contact our Year 11 Progress Leader should you have any questions or require any further information.
Study Skills Day for Year 11 with Learning Performance - 10th October 2016 (School Day)
Year 11 will be taking part in interactive and motivational workshops which show pupils how to learn, how to revise and how to prepare for exams with creative strategies such as memory techniques. We are really looking forward to seeing how much the pupils will gain from the day. Research has shown equipping pupils with such learning strategies can improve progress by an average of 8 months.
