Many pupils across Years 7 - 9 are taking part in activities relating to a balanced diet this week, as part of British Nutrition Foundation's Healthy Eating Week 2017.
Pupils in Year 7 were invited to design their own healthy meal that they would like to see served in the school canteen.
The proposals will be judged by Mrs Broadley, Head Chef, and Mrs Sibary, Head of Food, and the winning creation will be on the school lunchtime menu in the coming weeks.
Cooking classes will be making a variety of healthy meals and snacks to serve to pupils and staff during break time, including banana and blueberry muffins, vegetable spring rolls, and super food fruit crumble pots.
The week culminates in a food workshop during the Festival of Nations celebrations on Friday, where pupils can learn to make healthy 'Chinese-style' meals.
